NO FOUNDATIONS:

AN INTERDISCIPLINARY JOURNAL OF LAW AND JUSTICE

No Foundations is an international peer-reviewed journal committed to publishing interdisciplinary legal scholarship of the highest quality at the interface between law and justice. We encourage contributions from all areas of law and beyond, with the aim of bridging the gap once opened between law and other social and human activities and experiences.

On the assumption that law is a socially embedded phenomenon that cannot be fully understood as an autonomous discipline, we aim to connect law both with its real effects on the lives of individuals and societies, and with the realm of human aspirations and ideals that give it life and meaning.

No Foundations is currently accepting book reviews and submissions for special issue "LAW AND EMOTION" (2020). To facilitate the review process please send us your manuscript before March 1, 2020. Please include an abstract of no more than 250 words with your submission.

CALL FOR PAPERS

Law & Emotion special issue

We invite articles for Nofo’s special issue ‘Law and Emotions’ due in 2020. As scholars interested in the ways in which law and emotion/affect intertwine in the mundane legal practices, we have initiated a research project Law and Emotions concentrating on questions such as how emotion/affect is experienced and communicated in legal processes and how they construct and move between (legal) subjects (see e.g. Dahlberg 2009; Damsholt 2015; Grossi 2015; Lanas 2011; Moran 2001). We invite articles that discuss law and emotion/affect from any perspective and in any context.
